Wow, someone finally did it and that someone is John Scott. Finally a 100% raw restaurant in Miami dedicated to organic food that is alive with all its life sustaining enzymes intact. It is amazing there are no ovens, fryers, grills or stoves and yet when you walk in the aroma of healthy food instantly waters your appetite. The list of choices are extensive with raw pizza and burritos, excellent salads, all kinds of smoothies and drinks all made fresh and don’t forget the chocolate moose and other dessert treats.
It’s nice to know they are being as green as possible and constantly looking to find improvements as the budget allows. By not using electricity for ovens or gas for cooking the restaurant produces food with a much smaller carbon footprint saving energy in many ways, as even the A/C does not have to work as hard to cool the place.
Unless you are one of a very select few in Miami who know how to make this food for yourself, you can now experience this way of eating Monday through Saturday from lunch through dinner. If you are like me and eat raw foods all the time, you can take a break and let someone else clean up the kitchen for a change. If your date has an interest in eating raw, there is no place like it on the planet to take her so enjoy this truly unique treasure Miami!
